"Affliction, Starlings" is made from field recordings of starlings tussling in my backyard in a fading rain shower, in late May 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The download includes a PDF of the text of the poem, which is dedicated in part to the poet Don McKay. This piece is free to download, but if you care to pay, all funds from the purchase of any downloads will be matched and donated to local food charities in Vancouver, B.C.
